Guys. It’s going to be in the 60s today!! The 60s!! If that’s not reason to celebrate this Monday, I’m not quite sure what is :)

But, just in case you’re a huge winter lover, here are a few other reasons worth smiling for this Monday:

•  Cookie in a Cup. Seriously, no other words are really required for this one. You can make a COOKIE in a CUP. In about two minutes. IT’S AMAZING! Put a scoop of ice cream on top, and you’re all good to go. Like now. Find your nearest mug & run to a microwave! It’s that good :)
• For the more savory tastbuds out there, I also discovered an amazing recipe for Spaghetti Carbonara via Heart Love Always on Friday! 5 ingredients, 15 minutes, and BACON?! What else could a girl ask for? :) I always get really excited when I make something new that actually tastes good; it’s a little ridiculous how much satisfaction cooking an actual meal brings me! This one was definitely a “Chris! Like, I would pay for this meal in a restaurant!” kind of moment :) Oh, and I did add chicken to this too, which was a great plus!
• On Friday, I decided to show my freshmen the first half of the Leo version of Romeo and Juliet to celebrate making it through state testing and being almost-done with the play ourselves! Why you may ask? Well, not only do they still use the original Shakespeare (yesssss!), but also, 90s Leo is quite possibly the best thing ever. His first scene with the moody music & gorgeous sun glare?? #inserthearteyeemojishere Also, the Friar cracks me up, and Paul Rudd as Paris?! Perfect! I LOVE this modern take on Shakespeare, and even if you aren’t the hugest fan of my pal Will, you should still check it out on Netflix while it’s there! :)
• Also, I learned that I still suck at bowling on Saturday in case anyone was curious. We played two late night rounds, and I’m pretty sure my highest score was 37. #nobumpers #nopoints
• And finally, I am ashamed to say that Chris and I slept in through the most monumental Pi Day of our lives. On 3/14/15 at 9:26 and 53 seconds, we were sleeping. 3.141592653. But, we did eat some pie to celebrate a few hours later, and it was amazing :)
